You are so right, Joe! As a kid growing up in Montreal in the 60’s, it was COLD! I remember shivering so bad I felt stiff! Then I decided (an angel whispered in my ear?) to pretend I was on a warm, sunny beach, laying on the hot sand. My body instantly relaxed, and I used that trick for years. It became second nature, so now I don’t even have to imagine…I just am.
Thanks for reminding me of that experience!
Blessings ♥

Have known a man for some time now at a grocery store who’s naturally born mental limitations allows him to be employed as a cart mover and someone who helps load cars with groceries. But he is the most glowing and cheerful person, greeting strangers with his gravelly voice, “how are you doing today?” And on departure, “Hope you have a wonderful day!”
So, yesterday, I asked him, “Where to you get the wherewithal to be so cheerful all the time?”
His answer floored me … for it was the answer to experiencing a remarkable life.
“I just choose to,” he said.
Like relaxing in the cold, or choosing to be happy toward others to make their days warmer … it all boils down to our choosing what we want to experience. :)

Whenever I feel the need to ‘do’ something, I take a breath… slowly, deliberately, and it reminds me… there’s nothing to do! ;)

Hello. :]
An old trick. It’s all in the brain. If you’re able to control it, you can do anything.
