I was feeling crappy a couple of days ago – my joints ached and my back hurt; typical virus symptoms.
Started telling myself a story about it… “Where did I get this? Why did I get it? This is a drag… This could last for days…”
The mind’s totally predictable dialog only adds fuel to the fire… so I turned the channel!
Every time I found myself thinking about ‘my illness’, I focused on something else. Primarily, assisting others, taking a walk; things I love to do. I got out of the way, let my body do what it knows how to do. It felt great!

What an AHA … “letting go of my interpretation of what’s going on” has so many applications beyond health – though I rejoice with you and your affirmations of your bodies’ natural wisdom and power in dealing with dis-ease. :)
Present circumstances interpreted by me as unpleasant is illusion – which can be changed simply by choosing a different moment by releasing … letting go … my interpretation, letting the Universe show its power as I co-create with it circumstances I desire.
Thank you Joe and Jenn – very timely … and who’s surprised by that? :)

Just wanted to say thank you for posting such an inspirational message. I’ve also been following Abraham’s wisdom, that our bodies follow the train of our thoughts, no exceptions! The greatest insight I received from the Abraham material is that sickness or any type of dis-ease, is only an indicator of how we’ve been feeling, that’s all it is, and by reaching for better feeling thoughts about what’s been bothering us, we can turn downstream, and the illness cannot abide within the vibration of someone who is feeling good. Nice to know ay?
Thanks again for all the videos you’ve posted on Youtube, especially the one on appreciation vs gratitude.
Love you man,

Hi Vince! As I’m reading your comment @ Abraham, Jen, my girlfriend, came across an Abraham video on YouTube and was playing it aloud…
We’re all in this wonderful electric vibrant sandbox together! Love you too!

You two think like I do on so many things. I guess as we follow our path and keep reaching for the most natural thing to do, and listen carefully to our bodies and to nature, we naturally come to think this way. I don’t believe in creating a whole story about illness, but prefer to either just observe my body doing its thing, and at the same time heed what it’s saying to me.
Love the video on the sun! You took the words right out of my own mind. And the tree video, the sex with love video — all of them! :) Thank you so much for sharing! And I’m so glad to be sharing this space with you.

The other day I got a sudden, stabbing headache. I said, “Hi, I hear you. Thanks and goodbye.” And it left.
