I love the ocean, and when I heard that the Japanese were dumping highly radioactive water into her, I got inspired…

I’m in India in the middle of a 28 day Deepening Course at the Oneness University, and amidst this immersion, the idea of us sending blessings (deeksha) to neutralize the radiation kept jumping into my meditations… my retreat-mates were a unanimous ‘YES!’… and I recorded it. Three nukes in Japan out of control…

Human control, that is… not divine control.

At times like these, as I start to get worried, I remember that LOVE is the most powerful force in all Creation…

Always has, always will.

And as all the Saints and Siddhas remind us, EACH OF US is a channel of the Divine. Sometimes it takes a challenging situation to compel us to drop the tiny story of ourselves and to bring our innate Divinity forward into the world.

YOU are God in drag; YOU are a direct manifestation of the Divine, incarnate here on earth.

You are a clear channel of Divine LOVE, thank you for channeling this love to the nuclear reactors in Japan!

Personally, I see God’s hands cradling each of the reactors, calming and neutralizing the radioactivity within… each of us has a healing image that comes to mind… join us in seeing the harmonious resolution of this event…

A cause for Celebration…

A big, deep breath of Solidarity…

For what is happening in the Middle East, in Egypt, Libya and in Madison, Wisconsin and everywhere else around the world,

is that the ‘common man’ is being backed up and supported by… his brothers and sisters of different religions, faiths, traditions, races, unions, backgrounds…

The collective Heart of Humanity speaks, and it says ‘Enough’…

And this voice, the voice of all of us, is looking around in awe… seeing itself reflected in the hearts of people everywhere, globally…

We are of one voice… Yes!

It will happen amazingly fast, because we will do it together…

And that’s a dream come true, ‘the’ dream, the dream that lives in every heart of every person everywhere, a dream we dared not hold too clearly…

Humanity is United: Enough of separation, we celebrate our Oneness

While in Las Vegas last week one day I noticed that the sky was FULL of chemtrails…

Chemtrails are manmade plumes of questionable origin. While I’ve heard much about them over the years, I’ve not given them much attention, choosing to focus on beauty instead, knowing that love and beauty are the most productive, life-giving qualities in all creation…

But this day, as I looked up at the blatant display of row upon row of aerial spraying, something within me said it was time to face them squarely; to look upon them with deliberate intent…

Before I had time to ask ‘what intent?’, the answer blossomed within me…

I went for a swim in the ocean today. The water’s a bit chilly by Floridian terms (74 degrees), and yet the ocean always manages to seduce me into totally immersing myself in her, despite the temperature…

Let’s face it, I’m a sucker for beauty! After donning my wetsuit and hood, in I go!

Swimming out toward the deep blue, I saw a large school of blue surgeonfish working their way across the reef like a flock of sheep, stopping here and there to graze, then slowly ambling on…

Then I started snorkeling across the hundred yard expanse between the first and second reef. With nothing but sand below me, I took the time to go within, focusing my attention on my heart center… I breathed into it, envisioning it

expanding, seeing my love expand out into the entire ocean…

I saw the love pouring out of me as light, illuminating the sea… It felt so sweet, I wanted to give myself fully to this pouring and I closed my eyes…

Free of visual distraction and immersed in the ocean’s embrace, I surrendered and felt myself continue to open and expand… Waves of love flooded through me, “I” became a wide open portal with total ecstasy on one side and the oceans at the other… “I” was the thin circular edge of this portal, a visceral energetic membrane, a tangible physical wormhole between the multidimensional ecstasy of the divine and the thirsty reception of the oceans…

“I” was in total bliss, a window between worlds… I giggled in reverie…

Amidst this exuberance something stings the exposed skin on my neck… Opening my eyes, I’m swimming through a particularly murky current of water. It looks like canal water; full of bits of plastic and floatsam and trash, and I notice myself pulling my energy back in, as if I can avoid coming into contact with it.

I hear the thoughts ‘Yuck’ and ‘Dirty!’ from somewhere within me, pulling me from the reverie of moments before…

HA!

I know exactly what this ‘polluted’ water needs; this water needs some love! Smiling, I close my eyes and return to the portal, envision infinite amounts of love pouring into these waters, seeing them sparkling back to life with great joy and vitality… My own body is tingling in response… (Its tingling even now, remembering…)

Opening my eyes, I notice a bunch of mullet fish schooling below me… instinctively I begin to watch and follow…

I catch myself – what am I doing?  Trading the adventure of following this school of fish for the reverie of the moment before?

Its an epiphany for me… here I am with a beautiful undulating school of fish to follow, coming up to a busy shallow reef that’s buzzing with life, and I want to close my eyes??? You bet!

And I get what Ester Hicks and Abraham talks about when they say to let go our attachment to ‘what is’ for the absolute pleasure of imagining what’s next. So with another wave of excitement, I turn from my beautiful beloved reef and swim back out into the sandy channel, to close my eyes and immerse myself yet again into the portal of bliss that is pouring through me…

The Ocean is conscious; she’s a vast divine Goddess of beyond planetary proportions. And in my loving her, I become aware of a prophesy I heard many years ago; that the oceans of our world have the potentiality to come alive in a quantum way that has never happened before, and that this awakening is brought about through the power of love, human love…

And in my portal of loving bliss, I imagine this as already done; the oceans of our world teeming with an unbelievable amount of life and beauty and joy, beyond anything ever before imagined…

Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the USA – thank you to whomever made this day a national holiday!

Early Thanksgiving morning I flew from Toronto (brrrr!) to Florida (ahhhh!) and arrived at noon. My sweater came off as soon as I got off the plane, and within 90 minutes I was in the ocean…

The ocean fills me with appreciation… she is so viscerally nurturing, encompassing, embracing, uplifting…

I took my camera into the ocean with me… and filmed this Thanksgiving appreciation! I love sharing my appreciation and I love you!

I visited the town I grew up in as a kid today… Windham, Maine, about 10 miles inland from Portland. It was very powerful and brought up a lot of feelings…

I walked the edge of the same country road I walked every day to school; past the hill we used to sled down in winter, past the fields where I picked corn as a young farm worker, past the pond where I fished…

Many of the days I walked this road as a kid, I was sad and lonely… feeling out of place, awkward, not fitting in. I didn’t fit in at home, I didn’t fit in at school, I didn’t fit in with the kids in the neighborhood… I felt so out of place, I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere, and it caused a profound sense of despair. The thought of suicide, of taking my own life to put an end to the obvious mismatch of me and this world, was a thought that shadowed many of my steps.

Back then, I thought I was the only kid who felt that way… Now I know that most of us felt that loneliness as a kid; it is the loneliness of forsaking our connection with our inner knowing, to try and belong to a world that does not honor true feelings and knowings…

As I walked along this road today, I walked beside the me that was a kid… I felt the depths of my despair, my deep aching cry to feel a sense of belonging, any sense of comfort that yes, I fit in. As I re-traced these steps, I remembered stopping to marvel at the colors of the roadside pebbles on rainy days and spring thaws, revealing flashes of hidden light from the wetness. I remembered the great blue heron  that would startle me with the flapping of his wings, breaking me from my thoughts as he took flight from the quiet of the pond. I climbed down and peered into the culvert that carried the stream under the road, a culvert I’d crawled thru as a kid.

As I walked today, I reached out to the lonely me of my youth, told myself that everything’s ok, that things get better, that I’m perfect just as I am… I shared with him words of comfort that spontaneously came forth…

It was very healing, I felt the younger me receiving my love… I flashed back and forth, in and out of time, until there were not two of me but one, both the old and the new, looking out at the world from the same two eyes, traversing the path of my youth with the same two legs.

Then I turned down my street, looked with wonder at the trees lining both sides of the road; trees that I walked beneath every day for years!

My love for these trees jumped out of me; I swooned at the love between us… and I felt the child me, and his love of these trees… and then I felt the tree’s love for me; back then and right now…

I came to the big spruce at the end of the yard, my favorite place to go and hide… a huge girth of a trunk, its thick array of strong branches, close together, easy to climb… This tree was one of my first secret places, a tall sentry between the painful reality of of denial and deceit that was the curse of my family heritage, and the strong quiet comfort that Nature so readily gave… I would climb these branches, sit on the smooth sway of their arc, and, hidden in the aura of her cloak, I would sit and cry and be strangely comforted…

I don’t remember what was said; only the sense of love and connection. This tree was my family, is my family, it nurtured and loved and accepted me in a way that my biological family couldn’t. Not because they didn’t want to but because they were too present to their own pain to recognize mine… The tree gave me belonging, camaraderie, community in ways that I didn’t understand but clearly felt. I dare say it kept me alive.

And standing before it today, I know I don’t have to be in its physical presence to feel it; its always present within me, just think of it and it is here…

I still have times of struggle, still feel the loneliness of despair, when the beauty and love and visions I feel so strongly within me seem of little or no value to the rest of my species. I still have times where the fear of being unable or of not having enough time to communicate the magic of what I see causes me to be overwhelmed in hopelessness…

And still, when I feel this overwhelm, this sense of despair, I go where I have always gone to receive comfort; I go to Nature. Here I am held, here I am joined, here I am one with all the beauty and the grace…

Even now, as I face the noisy clamor of fear and insecurities within me, I have the presence of mind to relax and soften. As I do, I feel the presence of a wiser me, a more compassionate and loving me,  comforting and reassuring me that yes, all is well and all is beautiful…

The 80’s brought us “Dolphin-Safe” tuna, now its time for us to help create “Fishermen-Safe” Dolphins! Can a group of inspired people align their vision well enough to communicate a message to the dolphin collective? Applying principles from the ‘100^th Monkey’ study, in which a whole species of monkeys spontaneously began applying the actions of a few, we’re going online on the ‘inner-net’ to send the dolphins some net- and fisherman-safe strategies!

The dolphin hunters are continuing their hunt in Taiji, Japan, site of the movie ‘The Cove’. They chase the dolphins into the cove using a wall of sound, and they keep them captive there with nets. On this show we will be sending them images and strategies to “swim far, fast and deep’, as initiated by the Taiji Dolphin Action Group, as well as to overcome the puzzling world-wide cetacean reluctance to leap over simple water-level nets to regain their freedom.
