Say what you love to say!

by Joebaby on October 20, 2009

I’m writing and can hear John Mayer singing “Say what you need to say”. It’s been playing every couple of hours for 2 days now…

A beautiful song, it reminds me that we each came here with something to ‘say’, something to ‘do’, something to ‘be’.

Today’s my birthday; what do I wish to say?

I love you. I appreciate you. I’m thankful to be alive at this most amazing time, and that all of you are here with me.

Sometimes I’m overwhelmed and intimidated. Other times, I’m exhilirated. When I take life one breath, one moment at a time, I see what God/Source has in mind; be present, have fun.

More and more, I am!

‘Say what I need to say’ played in my mind a 100 times yesterday… it stirred all the things I have yet to say – it’s overwhelming!

It got me restless, triggering all that feels unfinished… I got crazy, this need wrecking havoc within me…

So I went outside, into the sun and fresh air, and found myself flopping down in the tall autumn grass, a warm breeze blowing…laying there, drinking in the sky, the sun, the smells…

With my heart at peace, love/my muse gave me another version of the song…

It said, “Say what I love to say”…

My heart lept with joy – that’s pure 100% fun!

Writing this, here, now, this is what springs forth: I love life and I love you!

Then another wave (as if that wasn’t enough): Thank you, Life, for the gift of living. Thank you for helping me remember how blessed I am.

Thank you for the opportunity to invite You to live your beautiful expanding self ever more fully thru me.

(I love saying that!)

How blessed I am!

It keeps on going…  a spontaneous rampage of appreciation!
