This post started out as a comment; ‘What really matters’.
Then turned into a question; “What really matters?”
It cuts to the chase, blows away the fluff. In these times of uncertainty, all that is fluff/secondary/insignificant can block our ears, pull at our attention. Yet the words ‘What Matters’ distills the essence.
Amidst change, when you can only bring what you carry, choices are simple.
“Ever since my house burnt down, I have a glorious view of the moon” …. Basho
And what matters quiets us, centers us. What matters is real and true.
We all know in our heart what really matters. And after all, isn’t that all that matters?
