I Promise to make Mistakes!

That’s a promise!

(is it a mistake to make a promise like that?)

I don’t know, and that’s the reason for my promise!

I just posted ‘The Big Election’… it wasn’t quite what i was originally inspired to write… it evolved (?) as i wrote… or was it that my ego got in there and added its two cent’s?

I don’t know – yet.

I could save it, and re-read it in a day or two and see how it feels in my gut. That’s how i typically do it, and it works well. When i re-read something, i can feel in my belly what is ‘truth’ and what is ego.

That’s the smart thing to do; that’s playing it safe.

Yet it takes out some of the impulse, and i love impulse. Impulse has taught me a lot. And after a lifetime of socialization; of hesitating and sorting and internally scanning behaviors before i risk breaking tribal law, i now say, screw it.

I will make mistakes. My ego will slide in. I will get rightous! (Amen to that!)

And i will learn from my mistakes. That’s part of what this blog is for me; a place to open and allow the steady voice within me to speak its truth.

Most of the time it is eloquent (at least to me). Most of the time it moves and inspires me, re-connects me to the greater truth of our Oneness and the absolute magic of our world.

And sometimes its just my ego.

In giving myself permission to let it fly, i’m opening the doors to more flow. I apologize in advance for the baloney. And you’re invited to point out and comment on what you see as baloney (as well as what you enjoy – thanks!)

Thru this unabashed expression, i grow; i grow thru getting even more out of the way, and giving room for the one magic that animates all of us to speak, act and vote!
